The programme is designed for senior line and staff managers who are responsible for, or involved in, acquisition decision making and implementation at corporate or business levels.
The programme aims to offer a blend of three perspectives:
- The corporate perspective of senior acquisition or development managers, financial, control or HRM staff
- The perspective of area or business managers responsible for the ultimate success of acquisitions in their business
- The acquisition specific perspective of acquired company managers, business development managers or others working on successful integration.
The key aspect when reviewing applications will be previous and current experience in M&A. Participants without specific acquisition experience will be expected to have a senior general management background. Since the programme has a strong corporate focus, admission of external acquisition professionals (such as consulting companies) is limited to those involved in their own firm’s mergers or acquisitions. |
