Understand and develop the new and subtle skills required by businesses today to effectively manage internationally.

While only a limited number of executives had responsibility for conducting business across national borders 30 years ago, the needs of a minority have become those of a much larger group today. Enhancing cross-cultural management skills, understanding international teamworking and developing global organisation management skills have become a necessity.

Managerial Skills for International Business (MSIB) provides a passport to cross borders and cultures in business. It enhances the ability to organise management across national boundaries, develops the special skills required in international teamwork and leadership and brings essential understanding of the crucial cross-cultural management issues that can often seem hard to untangle.

The success of corporations in today’s business environment depends on many factors such as:

  • The capacity to lead effective organisational processes across national boundaries
  • The capabilities to build global teamwork in a network of corporate units that need their own identities
  • The international development of human resources
  • The ability of managers to operate, co-operate and compete effectively across many different cultures
