INSEAD Executive Certificate in Global Management
The INSEAD Executive Certificate in Global Management is awarded to participants who successfully complete at least three INSEAD global management and leadership programmes.
The certificate, which you can complete over a five-year period, provides you a recognised credential in the field of global management from one of the world’s most diverse and thought-leading business schools – the Business School for the World®. By taking a set of carefully selected courses you will be able to operate more effectively in the global environment and at the same time gain an unmatched international viewpoint.

Criteria
To be eligible for the certificate, candidates must complete a minimum of one core programme and two elective programmes. The three programmes selected must amount to a minimum of at least 16 days, with a five-year time limit to complete the certificate. Open enrolment programmes taken since 2007 can be counted towards the certificate. The additional programmes are to be taken within a 5-year period.

FAQs
If I apply, will I be obliged to get the certificate?
Stating your intent to do the Certificate does not form any obligation to you or to INSEAD and is not mandatory. However, once you have applied, the programme advisors will work with you to identify the most suitable programmes for you and will ensure the programmes you take qualify towards the certification. As such, it will help you design a longer-term learning plan, ensuring greater impact for you and your organisation.
I completed Open-enrolment Programmes in the past. Am I eligible for this certificate?
Open-enrolment Programmes taken since 2007 can be counted towards the certificate. The additional programmes are to be taken within a five-year period.
Is there an added cost?
No, there is no additional cost.
Are the General Management Programmes part of the Certificate?
No, our Advanced Management Programme, Transition to General Management and Management Acceleration Programme are not included in the Certificate. They make you eligible for INSEAD Alumni membership. However, the Asian International Executive Programme qualifies towards the Certificate.
Will I receive alumni status from INSEAD?
Awardees of the Certificate will not be eligible for INSEAD of alumni. However, by completing the programmes over a continuous period, you will be able to build a strong network of contacts.
How many days in total do I have to complete?
The minimum number of programme days that you need to complete to get the certificate is 16 days.
Does participation in customised programmes count towards the Certificate?
No, only participation in Open-enrolment Programmes will count towards the certificate.
Can I complete three programmes in less than five years?
Yes, you can complete the programme in less than five years and in whatever order suits your needs.
Will I be informed if I will be eligible for this programme?
No, you will not receive any specific communications if you will be eligible for this programme. Please advise the relevant Programme Advisor of the programmes that you wish to complete in order to receive this Certificate.

Do more than one ‘Core programme’ qualify towards the Certificate?
Yes, even all three programmes could be from the list of Core Programmes.
