AVIRA: Awareness, Vision, Imagination, Responsibility, Action is a unique invitation to set aside the urgent to consider the important. It provides a forum for you (leaders at the top of organisations) to learn, reflect, and grow. Facilitated by experienced session leaders, you will explore and discuss the characteristics of effective top executives and high performance organisations. You will widen your international network of colleagues. Reflecting the motto of “little teaching, lots of learning,” the spirit and format of AVIRA is peer-led.

AVIRA is a peer-led seminar, raising questions and contesting alternatives through group and plenary interaction, and active exchange with session leaders. The design of the programme includes peer coaching, facilitated by a professional coach, and includes post programme follow-up.

Condensed into five intensive days, the programme is set in fully residential surroundings. 

1. Awareness. Participants follow the path from the outside world of the corporation, to the inner world of the top executive
2. Vision. They are asked to envision tomorrow’s managers, organisations and global economy
3. Imagination. With their peers, participants are encouraged to be bold and creative but selective
4. Responsibility. The programme will redefine what it means to be a CEO, seeking for participants to be different not just better
5. Action. Finally, they are asked to commit to the discipline to act

This programme is designed for top executives who hold significant responsibility including CEOs, Managing Directors, C-suite Executives, Executive Vice Presidents, Board Members or Chairpersons of international organisations.

	Subramanian Rangan Programme Director Professor of Strategy and Management The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court Endowed Chair in Societal Progress Subi Rangan received an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Ph.D. from Harvard University. His research and teaching revolve around the strategy and management challenges facing multinational firms.
